Day
3 of Da Biscuit -
the final day of the fest promised to be one of
the best yet, with another day of 'made-to-order'
weather. A day of leisure is easy at this event,
as you can choose to make a permanent base in front
of your favorite stage and just soak up the sounds.
Or, you can choose the more aerobic plan of visiting
as many stages as you can squeeze into a day.
Yesterday was focused on exploring as much music
as possible, something you'll find in abundance
down at Da Biscuit. With 5 stages, and street musicians
performing all along Cherry Street, there's more
than enough, even for us here at STLBlues! And that's
no easy task!!
Today was spent enjoying the festivities found only
in Tent City. Strongly recommended for the RV/Camping
set, it's fun enough you may never want to leave.
But leave you will, as there's nothing like the
musical line-up at Da Biscuit. Here's what today
had to offer -
- Kenny Brown Band
- Watermelon Slim & The Workers
- Larry Garner
- Lil’ Ed & The Blues Imperials
- Robert Lockwood, Jr.
- Michael Burks
- Phillip Walker
- The Fabulous Thunderbirds
Special thanks goes out
to all those who made this event a reality, and
keep bringing this event to you FREE! Jerry Pillow
for booking such a good lineup of talent, Bubba
Sullivan for all his efforts, and Rayne Gordon -
Prez of the Sonny Boy Blues Society, producers of
this event - and all the staff and volunteers. Special
thanks naturally to all the artists that shared
their gift of music to so many! We'll see you at
the 2007 Arkansas Blues and Heritage festival!
