Johnny - Dancing With the Devil
Named after the late great John Lee Hooker, Jr. Johnny
got his blues start playing in garage bands in New
York. He managed to relocate to the San Francisco
area after he served as an MP in Vietnam. He made
a name for himself performing with greats such as
Mike Bloomfield and Jimmy Witherspoon. Jr. Johnny
used to tour on the road exclusively, but with family
and educational responsibilities he has had to do
a variety of odd jobs including carpentry and wine
master. Jr. has released around six CDs; his latest
entitled "The Drifter" is available on his
website.
