Street DELUXE BLUES BAND
2005 Self Titled/Self Produced
This
band hails from San Diego California and provides
a very enjoyable self release. This, their first
studio CD was nominated for best blues album of
2005 by the San Diego Music Awards. This is the
type of band that loves playing and performing the
blues and lets the music speak for itself. I enjoyed
this disc a lot and could picture myself digging
these guys jamming in a small club setting. My two
favorite tunes on this disc were “It’ll
Come To Ya” and “You Is So Mean”,
which really highlight their talents throughout.
I give this disc a 3.9 out of 5.0 on my STLBluesometer
rating and recommend giving the mp3’s on their
website a listen and judge for yourself if you want
to add this disc to your blues collection.
The
band is:
Steve Bulger, Harp and Lead Vocals
