David
Krull :: can't let go
{Recorded & Engineered by Discovery
Productions, St. Louis, MO.
Additional recording & engineering by Spirit
Wind Studio, Hayward, CA.}
David's long awaited CD features David's
brilliant piano work, coupled by his songwriting
skills, to the joy of piano Blues lovers everywhere.
The early influences of Ahmad Jamal, Otis Spann,
and Leon Russell provided David with a foundation
for inventive romps on the eighty-eights. Improvising
with wild abandon, David Krull at the helm of a
piano can bring the house down with a natural blues,
eight-to-the-bar boogie, or a Crescent City rhythym,
reminiscent of the great Professor Longhair. David
Krull has performed and developed his talents for
over 25 years in Kansas City, Chicago and New Orleans,
with Blues luminaries such as Johnnie Johnson, Oliver
Sain, Snooky Pryor, Charlie Musselwhite, and so
many more! David's wife Julia helped compose several
of the tracks on this CD. David's resume also includes
time on the road with Blues legend Jimmie Rogers,
who asked David "does that piano travel...and
the rest is history.

By Big Dave - I first saw David
Krull perform a few years back at
Mississippi Nights, at that time
an unknown to me. David sat down
and began one of the most outstanding
piano solos I've ever had the fortune
to witness. As his set was coming
to an end, and applause began to
explode throughout the club, his
keyboards actually fell off the
stand onto his lap. Not missing
a note, this consummate performer
finished his set to a rousing ovation
from a very pleased crowd of music
lovers. For
