MORRIS
HENDERSON
Performer extraordinar Morris Henderson is a force to
be reckoned with when it comes to music. As a vocalist
he shows what is necessary to represent while recording
the compassionate GRAMMY winning hit song "YOU
HURT ME BABY" with the VOICEMASTERS on the Bamboo
label. MORRIS has also performed on the Warner Brothers
and Reprise Labels as well, recording songs including
the effervescent "DANCE CRAZY."
Increasingly
MORRIS displays his abilities as a drummer as well
as a vocalist and has passionately performed with
GENE 'THE DUKE OF EARL' CHANDLER, Blues Legend BENNIE
SMITH, GENE LYNN, BARBARA CARR, BENNIE SHARP AND THE
SHARPIES and OLIVER SAIN.
JOHN
C WILSON
Although John spends most of his time teaching in
Missouri and playing local gigs as of late, he has
a very deep tie to the international Blues, Rock N
Roll and Country Scene. John has played Maui with
the famed Super Star WILLIE NELSON and toured Europe
with ALAN FRIZELL. More recently his regular gig was
with the house band at the Frontier Days in Cheyenne
Wyoming.
He
is a songwriter and a singer as well as a guitarist
on his self-titled release on Maui Zone Records.
As one of the lead singers he adds freshness to the
scene His blues presentation is rooted in the music
he loves to sing and play. He soars and lands with
grace and soul; an electric performance that's fun
to hear and see.
DOMINIC CONSOLINO
When it comes to performances DOMINIC and his groups
have opened for some of the greatest performers of
all times including Rock N Roll Mega Star Chuck Berry,
the legendary Kingston Trio and BASSIST FOR Mr. Earl
Gibson of the Sensational Ink Spots.
DOMINIC's
bass sound has provided the foundation for and unfolds
a tapestry of music to help define the group led by
Doc Dunn formerly of the Drifters and the high-powered
Greenville Opry in the Dallas Texas Area. DOMINICs
career also includes T.V., Blues Festivals and gigs
around the U.S.A.
As
a leader and pacesetter DOMINIC leaves no stone unturned
in laying down crowd pleasing vocals and bass.
STRAYHORN PARKER
Strayhone is truly a man for all seasons when it comes
to music. From the Mid-West to down south to the shores
of California, STRAYHORN has recorded and performed
live with Blues artist Albert King, Rufus Thomas,
Oliver Sain, Johnny Johnson and Gem Pruitt. In addition
he has also performed with Jazz greats Lester Bowie,
Oliver Lake and Eddie Harris.
His
sound on the flute is superb and his sax tone is crisp
and fresh. Playing under the direction of The Unity
Arts Ensemble he is featured along with Fred Wesley
of the James Brown Band on the CD "WORKIN THE
SPIRIT". He can also be heard on his own 2000
release "GOOD LOOKIN' OUT".
