JOE METZKA :: BIO

Vocalist/guitarist Joe Metzka and his group are based in St. Louis.
At an early age he began listening to blues and jazz records and
reading about legends like B.B. King and Nat King Cole.

The group plays original music as well as tunes from the traditions of blues, soul and standards.

Joe is active in both the blues and jazz genres and can be heard frequently at performances in and around the St. Louis region.

BACKLINE & STAGE PLOT

• Core group is a basic quartet with drums, bass, keys, guitar and one vocal. Horn/horns may be added as budget allows.

• Joe prefers to use his own Neuman kms-105 condenser mic where possible.

• Estimated travel expense is $100.00 per 50 miles of travel

• Available to work weekend gigs or during the week

• We are a 4 piece band and need hotel rooms for all
