Connor Low’s world revolves around music; performing, creating, and sharing his love of music with as many people as possible is his life goal. Connor Low was born in Saint Louis, Missouri in the spring of 2000. Growing up in a very musical family, Connor was influenced by his talented uncles and cousins. At 9 years old, Connor picked up a guitar and began learning with Marty Schwartz’s guitar tutorials on YouTube. Soon, Connor was performing at talent shows and within just 9 months after picking up the guitar, he played with the popular St. Louis band Trixie Delight at The Festival of The Little Hills in front of over 10,000 people. This experience was just the beginning . Connor then began studying classical, jazz , rock , and blues with many respected guitar teachers and players in the area. He has been performing everywhere that he can since age 10 - starting at open jams and open mics, at coffee shops, restaurants and clubs, as well as talent shows, festivals and community events. Connor quickly captured the attention and respect of the St. Louis Music community. This led to many incredible opportunities for Connor to be invited to perform as the guest guitarist with many St. Louis based bands , along with more opportunities to play at several St. Louis events and festivals. Connor's enthusiasm to learn more and work hard has also caught the attention of some of his greatest musical inspirations. He has had some incredible experiences to meet, play for and even perform with a few of them, including Eric Johnson, Dweezil Zappa, Tommy Emmanuel, Jon Anderson, Stu Hamm, Steve Vai, Andy McKee, Pat Martino, and Guthrie Govan to name a few. One of Connor's most recent exciting guest performances was with the legendary bass player Marcus Miller at The Jazz Bistro in the summer of 2015. Connor hopes and dreams to meet and perform with many, many more. From Jimi Hendrix to Miles Davis , Connor Low finds inspiration and influence in a myriad of musical artists. His musical style is free and limitless, like the musician himself. Rock, Jazz, Blues, Reggae, R & B, Funk, Fusion, Hip Hop, Classical, and Soul are just a sampling of the wide varieties of music that empower this young artist. Connor has an insatiable appetite to learn and excel in music . From the stages of Lollapalooza in Chicago, or the the Fabulous Fox Theater, when he’s not on a main stage, Connor performs regularly all around the St. Louis area: solo, or with several acoustic duos , bands , music programs and local groups. He has recorded with many artists as a featured guitarist on their albums, and recently started writing his own music, which he plans to release in the near future . In Connor’s own words: “I want to make music that will inspire and touch future generations. I want to create music that will stand the test of time. I aspire to travel the world - performing, learning, and positively impacting people with my love of music.” Facebook page - connorlowmusic.com Youtube - youtube.com/user/rockersongz Twitter - twitter.com/connorlowmusic instagram - instagram.com/connorlowmusic Special Event Performances: Lollapalooza - Chicago 2014 & 2015 The Fox Theater 2015 The Sheldon Concert Hall 2013 School of Rock with Jon Anderson of Yes 2014 - Chesterfield Amphitheater School of Rock National Convention - Las Vegas 2015 The Demo - Opening for canadian Guitarist Ewan Dobson 2015 Lou Fest 2012 Fair St. Louis 2012 Forest Park Balloon Race 2012 - 2013 Festival of The Little Hills 2010 & 2011 Featured Guest Guitarist: Jazz at the Bistro - Guest guitar with Marcus Miller 2015 Off Broadway - Funky Butt Brass Band - Holiday Brasstravaganza 2015 Javier Mendoza The Kransberg Arts Center 2015 , Jazz Bistro & Clayton Art Fair 2015 Guitar Masters Show - BB's Jazz & Soups 2015 El Monstero ( Pink Floyd Tribute ) The Pageant 2014 Kung Fu Caveman - Street Fest 2014 Kim Massie Band Chesterfield Amphitheater 2014 Javier Mendoza The Sheldon Concert Hall 2013 Trixie Delight 2010 & 2011 Dr Zhivegas 2010 Featured Guitarist on these Singles: Vega Heartbreak - "Go Cards" the Rally Song Vega Heartbreak - Acceptance ( Student Loans Album ) Arshad Goods - Communion ( Black Sunday ) Candice Ivory - Jaded ( Love Music ) Jason Jacobs - Follow John Joseph Shanahan - Autumn Leaves Opening act for the following bands: Acoustic Duo (Acoustic Duo with vocalist Race Simmons) The King of Pain ( Police Tribute band ) 2014 Magazine ( Heart Tribute Band ) 2015 The Fox Theater - Finalists Teen Talent Competition 2015 Shakespeare Festival 2015 The Strumbellas 2015 (Juno award winning band from Canada) (Acoustic Duo Irie Sun with vocalist Jessie Phillips) Chesterfield 25th Anniversary Celebration 2013 (opening for Diamond Rio - Sunny Sweeney - Brian Bax Band ) Rattle and Hum ( U2 Tribute ) 2013 West County Talent Bash 2012-13-14 ( Teen Solo Duo Winners 2014 ) St. Charles 100 year event Illumination 2014 Mosaics festival 2014 Sunset Fridays - St.Peters 2014 and 2015 Magazine (Heart Tribute ) 2014 Shakespeare Festival 2014 ------------------------------------ ( Full band ) Medley - BB's Jazz Blues & Soups Stl Acoustic Medley - Mosaics Art Fair St. Charles
