3rd Annual Concert |
 The
2005 STLBlues concert to benefit cancer research was a huge
success. Heartfelt thanks goes out to BB's,
the fans, musicians and all who helped make this happen.
Over $2,000 was raised for the
Siteman Cancer Center!
The lineup was one of the best we've ever had, with lots
of highlight moments. If you witnessed the interplay between
Billy Peek and Johnnie Johnson during the high-intensity
cover of 'Johnnie B. Goode', you know what I'm talking about.
Coverage by lots of local media and several TV stations
helped get the word out about our 'Concert for the Cure'.
The evening was dedicated to two very special people....Mr.
Oliver Sain, and especially my sweet wife Shauna. We hope
this event raised public awareness about cancer, and helped
somewhat in finding a cure for this terrible disease. We've
launched a support site - www.ShaunaB.com
- that chronicles Shauna's personal battle with cancer.
