Kevin
Belford
is an Illustrator in St. Louis, Missouri. He freelanced
for the better part of his career after graduating from
the Kansas City Art Institute. In addition, Kevin is
one of the most diligent researchers of the early St.
Louis Blues scene of the 1900's.
From Kevin: "The musical history of St Louis
was an
influential
and important part of the development of the American
artform. Until now the city has
been largely disregarded as a stopover for traveling
musicians due to the concentration of interest over
the years in the New Orleans, Chicago and the delta
forms of early music."
