Cryin'
Shame
The
Cryin' Shame Band has evolved from their early partnership
with boogie-woogie pianist, David
Krull. The group has continued their mission of blues
as the house band for BB's Jazz, Blues & Soups and
the rhythm section behind blues legend Tommy
Bankhead.
While
considered to be rooted in the blues, the band takes
steps into jazz, funk, R&B, and soul featuring guest
artists on a regular basis. The band has recently completed
their debut CD "Make Me Cry" and continues
the legacy of the late night sets at BB's
Jazz, Blues & Soups.
Currently
featuring an all-star lineup of musicians, the Cryin'
Shame consists of JJ Johnson on vocals, Tony T on guitar,
John May on bass, Curt Landes and Robert Lohr on keyboards,
and Wendall Holmes on the drums.
