February
13, 2006, Tom Pollard of Modern Vintage celebrated his 50th birthday.
A bunch of musician friends got together and jammed that day at Ten
Mile House in Affton. Among those playing together were John Vullo,
Andy Waibel, Ryan Sielfleisch and Josh Stieren. This was the first
time this group of guys played together.
They
have now evolved into Modern Vintage!
On
March 1st of last year, Modern Vintage had their first "official"
gig, playing out as "Modern Vintage".
We
would not have been able to do what we've done this past year without
your help and support. For that Modern Vintage says "thank
you".
To
celebrate, the month of February is packed with Modern Vintage "special"
shows!
February
13th we will celebrate the first time Modern Vintage ever played
together. (and it's Tom's birthday). We will be playing at JP's
Corner Sorts Bar and Grill on Gravois. Music from 9-1, a 21+ show
and only a $4.00 cover.

Gras weekend features back to back shows. We will be playing at
a NEW MODERN VINTAGE venue Friday the 20th at the Sports Attic.
It's in Brentwood on Manchester Road, a 21+ show from 9-1 and NO

Bistro...a Modern Vintage staple...8:30-12:30, all ages, and PARTY
UPSTAIRS! Breakfast buffet starts at 6:00 Shuttle bus to and from
Soulard AND MODERN VINTAGE
We
end the month celebrating the end of our first year of playing out
with back to back shows.

together this past year and look forward to bigger and better things
in year two.
