Jimmy Carl Black, drummer/vocalist/Indian of the group for the original Mothers Of Invention, died November 1 from lung cancer.

In addition to his career with Frank Zappa, Jimmy Carl Black was drummer/singer/recording artist in a host of Blues bands and two notable Blues duos, first with Arthur Brown and later with Richard Ray Farrell.
