Merry
Christmas & Happy New Year! Thanks for hanging with us this year
– it’s been another whirlwind of a year that took us to
new heights. We’ve had a lot reviews with the help of both new
Street Teamers and old friends.
The calendar is growing everyday. We partnered with the St. Louis
CVC and produced the Music Guide.
Having the St.
Louis CVC work with us and distribute the Live Music Guide throughout
the area -the airport, vistors centers, by mail and more - is one
of 2008's crowning accomplishments for STLBlues!
Earning the 2008
'Keeping The Blues Live' Award from the Blues Foundation, well
that was pretty nice too!
Our STLBlues family has doubled adding Craig as our own in-house IT
guru and Barrett as our legal counsel. Big Dave and I are consistently
blown away by the amount of love and accolades from blues fans across
the country that we receive when out promoting music or by email –
thanks! Thanks
to all and to all a good night (rockin’).

Peace and love, Cornbread |
I
agree with Cornbread, it's been a great year at STLBlues. We've
spread the Blues gospel as few do, we're approaching 9 million hits
for 2008.
Help us in our mission, tell every band and venue you know of about
the Interactive
Gig Calendar
The best blues bands in the area (the world) work with us on a booking
level, and that's one of the most fun tasks we do here at STLBlues.
Staff/Street Teamers:
2 new members have joined the staff of STLBlues. Craig 'CC' Caesar
is now our IT/Tech partner, helping to keep the internet gears turning
behind the scenes at STLBlues.net as well as offering creative consultation,
audio and video production, DVD authoring, graphical design, web
application development, and promotional planning. Entertainment
Attorney Barrett Braun has also joined the STLBlues staff, as our
legal counsel/partner.
We've added several new Street Teamers this year.
Lee "East Side Slim" Howland has become one of the best
CD reviewers you'll find anywhere, with in-depth and insightful
reviews! Jeff
“Harpin Homer” Winders and Illinois
Phil just joined the Street Team in December, and we look forward
to much more from them!
Liz 'Dancing Through Life' Schneider has left the Street Team, and
taken her incredible eye for beauty and photo skills to a brand
new endeavor with RavenlightStudio.com.
It's an amazing display of talent and beauty, and we wish her tremendous
success!
Thanks to all of you for supporting STLBlues.net, come on back anytime
at all! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Dave
