E. G. Kight writes: I got home from a European tour last week, and I was pooped, but feeling really warm inside reflecting on my trip. Though it was hard work at times, with incredibly long days, I did do a lot of traveling and got to see the German countryside. We also did a show in Kristiansand, Norway, and I fell in love with that country as well.
“In Norway my touring band, Blue Alley and I joined forces with a Norwegian blues band called Rita's Lolitas. They are really fine musicians, and we had a great time with them. The day after the show they took us sightseeing, then wined and dined us up right. They really showed us some southern hospitality - south Norway that is! I feel like I made some lifelong friends in Norway.”
