Steve Simon, the Commander in Chief of Bluzapalooza, the organization
that give the Blues to troops around the world, sent this in:
An American flag was flown on an F-15 Strike
Eagle jet fighter last week during a combat mission in Afghanistan
in honor of The Blues Foundation by the 492nd Fighter Squadron.
Rocky Nelson will bring the flag and the
certificate from Afghanistan to Memphis to be presented to the Foundation
during the Blues Music Awards.
Nelson is the founder and DJ of the Blues
Power Hour radio show on Armed Forces Network's Freedom Radio in
Kabul, Afghanistan, and started this Blues radio show for the troops
after being inspired by the first Bluzapalooza tour to Iraq this
past April.
If you would like to see the certificate
that will be presented to the Blues Foundation, please visit our

Thanks, Rocky Nelson, for all you do to give
the Blues to those who need them most!
