"The International Blues Challenge is a huge gathering of blues
music industry folks from all walks of life. During the 2006
IBC, we met blue society members, radio personnel, blues magazine
editors, club owners, festival promoters as well as fellow musicians
from around the world. We opened one of the jam sessions
at the Rum Boogie on Beale Street and even had our CD, Wet My Beak,
played on the House of Blues Radio Hour. The IBC is great
opportunity to network and market your band. You just never
know who will be in the audience or the impact you’ll have
on them during your performance. We have a five day tour
of Florida coming up during the second week of November 2006 that
is a direct result of our participation in the 2006 IBC. We
are very pleased that the St. Louis Blues Society has agreed to
sponsor us for the 2007 event and for submitting our second CD,
Milk And Cookies, in the Blues Foundation’s Best Self-Produced
CD contest.
