 The
Visionary Awards honors women dedicated to the advancement of
the Arts. Kim Massie was selected as one of four women to be honored
this year!
This years awards were held at the Contemporary
Art Museum of St. Louis. a very nice venue for this event.
Emcee for this event was Vincent C. Schoemel Jr., President and
CEO of Grand Center, Inc. Kim was chosen for her award as "successful
working artist", one of the four categories awarded.
Of the four women honored, Kim's rendition of 'At Last' brought
the entire crowd to their feet in a spontaneous standing ovation!
Kim has performed with many of the St. Louis legends, such as
Oliver Sain, Mae Wheeler, Johnnie Johnson, Bennie Smith, and more.
