Joint Festival:
Spring is just around the corner, and that means the world’s
one and only Juke
Joint Festival will be here before you know it. The date: Saturday,
April 19, 2008. The place: Clarksdale, Mississippi. What is the
Juke Joint Festival? It’s a positive event for everyone in
Clarksdale. It’s good for families, businesses, musicians
and tourists alike. The festival itself combines an international
“blues festival” with a community-minded “small-town
fair,” creating a strong and memorable event like no other
in the universe.
Blind Willie McTell Blues Festival:
Soul and gospel legend Mavis Staples possesses one of the most recognizable
and treasured voices in contemporary music, and she's the headliner
for the 15th
Annual Blind Willie McTell Blues Festival, which will be held
Sat., May 10, 2008. Also set to play are: Duke Robillard, Anson
Funderburgh & the Rockets, Mary Flower, Mike Farris, Geoff Achison,

Bear Creek Blues Festival:
The Bear Creek Blues Festival is June 28, 2008 in Slater, Missouri.
Lineup includes: Lil' Ed & the Blues Imperials, Mike Zito,
Lew Jetton & 61 South, Doghouse Daddies, and Mr. Fletcher
& Scott McCullough. Free Primitive Camping in park, variety
of food vendors, great music, and guitar raffle.

August Blues & Roots Festival:
The 16th Annual Hot August Blues & Roots Festival in
Oregon Ridge Park, Cockeysville, Maryland will be August 16, 2008.
HAB is proud to announce John Hiatt & the Ageless Beauties,
