is that time of year once again. The annual BluesWax Awards for Artist
and Album of the Year will soon be given away to very deserving artists.
Once again you are invited to send in your nominations to the editor
at ssloan@visnat.com. Be sure
to put 2007 BluesWax nomination in the subject line. The final nominee
list will be announced on January 3, 2008, and the voting will open
that day and run until February 3, 2008. The winner of each category
will be announced the following Thursday in your issue of BluesWax.
These awards are to honor outstanding performances and recordings
of artists active on the national and international Blues circuit.
