Jazz, Blues & Soups has been acknowledged as one of St. Louis'
premiere blues clubs from the moment they re-opened their doors in
1996. This nightclub/restaurant will celebrate it's 11th current year
& 31st overall year anniversary with the completion of 2nd floor
renovations featuring an additional VIP bar, extra table seating with
viewing of the stage as well as seating on a New Orleans style outdoor
balcony overlooking the downtown skyline and the plaza below. The
1st floor was renovated earlier this year with additional seating,
enlarged sound stage, state of the art lighting & sound, bar and
kitchen improvements. The recent modifications essentially double
the seating capacity of the club and will enhance the overall experience
of visiting one of St. Louis' jazz and blues music shrines.
Their legend continues and many a die hard St. Louis music fan's dreams
will be fulfilled with these new additions and improvements to the
venerable old Phil's Hotel structure. BB's showcases these new amenities
with the accompaniment of some of the best live music from the East
and West coasts, New Orleans, Mississippi, and of course, St. Louis.
The grand opening week begins on July 15 and runs through July 21
featuring Roomful of Blues, Sessions Big Band Jazz Orchestra, Marquise
Knox, John Lisi & Delta Funk, Phillip Walker Blues Band, Skeet
Rogers & Inner City Blues Band, Big George & The Houserockers.
