to BB's Jazz, Blues and Soups is the 1st Annual 'BLUES ROYALE'!

WHAT: A showcase for regional Blues talent, both acoustic
& electric! Each
band gets a 20 minute set to showcase the best in Blues, in front
of 5 judges! The semi-finals have been
great so far, with outstanding competition!

WHY: The "winner"
of each category (electric
and
acoustic) will receive a certificate entitling them to
record a 10 song album at 12 Bar Productions. The package will
include sufficient tracking, mixing, and mastering time; and will
include 100 Retail-ready CDs with UPC code. (Band or artist to
provide all artwork). Each of these prizes has a street value
- according to 12 Bar published pricing - of $6,000! (Artists
- you keep the masters!)
Finalists who make it to the August playoff win a 4 song
Demo CD!
The
Grand Prize winners (acoustic & electric) each also receive
a DeBlaze
and Associates PR
“Media Package” valued at $750!

The winner in the electric division also wins a slot on the Emerging
Artists stage at the King
Biscuit Blues Festival, one of the largest Blues Fests in
the country.

HOW: We'll have
judges selected from BB's,
STLBlues, The Blues Society, Red 104.1 FM, and a local
celebrity. The winner will be announced at the end of the final
on August 9th,
and posted online at our home page!
