STLBlues was invited down to experience the Branson Blues Crawl. This event - the 3rd Annual - is the brainchild of Curtis and Dave of Willard Entertainment Limited. The Branson Blues crawl is a cooperative event held with the Branson Motorcycle Rally, and brought together a cross-section of folks who love both bikes and Blues!

The event was spread out over 6 venues in the Branson area, and transportation between events was provided by a series of shuttles and trolleys. STLBlues was there for several reasons - to cover the event and give you another event to add to your Blues social calendar, and to scout some talent for the 12 Bar label.

Some hightlights of the trip included the 3 pc. band known as Tripwire, a local favorite in the area! Some outstanding covers of SRV showcased the tight act that Tripwire delivers. A stop further on up the road led to Leveetown, a group you may remember from one of the Baby Blues Showcases. Wrapping up the night was a stop to catch some of Mesa Mitchell, who delivered a multi-octave vocal demonstration, dropping way down into the baritone range so well, and backed by some really good guitar and horns!

A fun event, nestled down in the Ozarks, so there's plenty to do all day, and the evening ends with some great Blues. Mark this event on your schedule, and tell them STLBlues sent you.
