GOOD FRIDAY BLUES
Few things are more rewarding here at STLBlues than being able to help others through music. That was accomplished many times over with the Christ Church Cathedral & STLBlues production of Good Friday Blues.
Good Friday Blues was a unique partnership of Christ Church Cathedral, the National Blues Museum and Magdalene St. Louis to bring people together on this holiest of Christian days to share and promote outstanding blues music and to help bring deep love to women whose lives have been nothing but deep pain.
A 'standing room only' crowd came out to share in the goodwill created at this exciting community event, at the same time contributing over $4,100 to the Magadelene Society of St. Louis and the National Blues Museum.
The goodwill can continue right here...please visit the Magadelene Society of St. Louis and the National Blues Museum to learn more, and to offer your support. It's now officially an 'annual', so we'll hope to see you at Good Friday Blues 2014.
