• Last Sunday was a double benefit day in the St. Louis Blues Community. We're pleased to report that we raised $800 from the Concert for the Cure, a benefit for the Siteman Cancer Center. Across the street from BB's, at the Beale on Broadway, a dear friend among the music community - Gus Thornton - was also having a benefit. Gus just underwent a heart transplant at Barnes hospital on 4.23. He's a legend, yet so humble, with a resume of playing with Stevie Ray Vaughn, and touring with luminaries like Albert King and Katie Webster. Send him your best wishes and healing energies!
